Two years in the planning for this wedding day for Cassie and Tim from Weston. The date was moved back due to covid, then it was all steam ahead for an outdoor wedding in the beautiful location of Poplar Farm, a smallholding with fields, overlooking the countryside.
They had wanted a personal wedding ceremony, so Amanda-Louise was chosen as their ideal Celebrant who wrote them a heartfelt ceremony with personal vows, exchanging of rings, a modern version of handfasting, and signed their blessing certificate.
It was dreamed of an outdoor service by the lake with hay bales and romantic decor as their wedding aisle and altar, but sadly after weeks of beautiful sun shine, we had heavy rain on the day, so the wet weather plans were brought into action with On the Day Wedding Coordinator Team Member Alice on hand to manage the alternative plans.
The marquee hosted their dance floor and wedding breakfast area, was quickly transformed into a wedding ceremony area, which on reflection gave a lovely intimate feeling with their family and friends surrounding them. And just as the ceremony concluded the rain shone through so we could have a confetti walk moment to celebrate the happy couple.
